Advisory Notices
- Compatibility:
- Sega Genesis and PS1/PSOne composite video outputs generate off-spec signals and may not work correctly with the RetroTINK-2X Pro. For Sega Genesis, it's recommended to use HD Retrovision Cables. For PS1, using a PS2 with good quality component cables is advisable.
- The N64 S-Video cable option is only compatible with NTSC consoles. PAL consoles require a special S-Video cable and must support S-Video output.
- Composite video connections may produce low outputs. For the best results use S-video or component.
- Capture Devices: The use of Elgato capture cards with RetroTINK products is not recommended, and technical support for Elgato equipment cannot be provided.
- The RT2X only supports standard definition signals. 480p and above inputs will not work.
- The RT2X only supports 'Bob' deinterlace which may result in flickering for 480i sources. For use with 480i content, an RT5X or RT4K is recommended.
